Loudmouth @ Wenlock
On Wednesday 27th February all secondary pupils participated in a LoudMouth theatre production. The production covered some key safeguarding topics of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), County Lines, Trafficking and Radicalisation. All pupils were actively engaged in the 45 minute production and contributed well to workshop discussions afterwards on some very challenging topics. It was a great opportunity for staff and pupils to watch a live theatre production and work together in asking Alec and Josie from LoudMouth questions around some of the key safeguarding concerns in our local area. All pupils said afterwards that they now understand and recognise different signs of exploitation more than before the start of the session. As Assistant Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead, the creativity of LoudMouth allows for a more innovative way in engaging pupils instead of traditional teaching through PSHE. All pupils should be proud in the way they conducted themselves throughout and both pupils and staff cannot wait for the next time LoudMouth attend The Wenlock School!
