Choosing which direction to take after leaving school is a big decision.
All pupils in Key Stage 4 and 5 will be given opportunities to complete work experience away from the school environment.
Individual plans will be created for each pupil in supporting them access the most appropriate work experience on offer. Graeme Gildroy (Assistant Headteacher) oversees these plans as Careers Lead for the school and visits all workplaces to ensure that all checks are complete, and the pupils are supported appropriately.
The school also has a clear careers programme for the pupils to access throughout their education at The Wenlock School. Secondary pupils are also supported by the external Connexions team with next destinations.
